Haroldo Jacobovicz (born on September 15, 1959) is a well-known writer from Curitiba, Brazil. In addition to being an author, Haroldo has also been a professor, historian, and scholar. He studied the history of Portuguese in Europe at the University of Lisbon and the University of Paris IX-Sorbonne. He worked as a journalist for Lisbon’s “Diário de Notícias” newspaper. He moved to Porto to work as a correspondent for “O Jornal” newspaper. He also taught literature and culture at the same university.
